For sale is one used set of 4 wheels.
P/N 14018395
*Works for Corvettes 1976-1982
*The rear webbing on 3 of these 4 wheels is the early style manufactured by Western, before Kelsey Hayes took over production. Only 4 sets of these ever made it to the production line before they were only available over the counter.
Some of the castings have been worn down and are no longer readable.
These wheels appear to be in good useable condition. They each have their own unique wear pattern, and will need a heavy cleaning/polishing/buffing to restore their appearance. There are many photos below this description, please read the description and view the photos carefully.
They are all 15" x 8".
We have not attempted to mount/balance a tire on these wheels, as we are not equipped to do so.
The wheels were stacked while in storage, as a result the outer lip on these wheels is a bit sharp to the touch along the edge.
There are no center caps included.
Wheel #1
This wheel shows spots and patches of oxidation throughout.
It also shows scratches and scuffs, as well as some small dings in a few places.
There are a few discolored areas from where some kind of chemical had dripped on it at some point.
The outer lip shows scratches and scuffs but there is no curb rash.
The center cap opening has some kind of adhesive residue on it.
Wheel #2
The wheel shows haziness/oxidation to the finish, but it still has a decent shine to it.
There are some dull patches on this wheel, its appearance may be improved with some cleaning.
The outer lip shows scratches/scuffs and oxidation, but there is no curb rash.
Wheel #3
The wheel has a decent shine to it, however it does show spots of oxidation.
It also shows water spots that have discolored the finish
.
The outer lip shows a few small sections of roughness from being stacked with other wheels (see pictures).
There is a small section of finish wear, from where a wheel weight had been installed at some point.
*This wheel was manufactured by Kelsey Hayes, but has a similar rear webbing to the Western branded wheels.
Wheel #4
This wheel has the highest concentration of oxidation on it, and will require heavy cleaning in order to achieve its best possible appearance.
There are a few discolored areas from where something had dripped on the wheel at some point.
This wheel has the same adhesive residue in the center cap opening as wheel #1.
The outer lip shows scratches and scuffs, but there is no curb rash
