: Although I do have customers who have purchased these plans and modified the basic design concept to retro-fit the Hossfeld style tubing bender for air over hydraulic operation, these plans do not discuss the details for these Hossfeld conversions and I do not have the specifics of the different modifications these customers have made to their benders.

, these professional plans will allow you to build the Hydraulic Tubing Bender Conversion setup shown in the photos below. This includes over 50 pages of CAD drawings and High Resolution Full Color Photos. Convert your existing JD2 model 3 or similar manual tubing bender to hydraulic operation.. The air-over-hydraulic conversion shown in the photos, which uses compressed air to operate the hydraulic jack,  will bend 1.5" diameter 0.120" wall tubing at a rate of approximately 1 degree per second. Drawings are also included for generic versions of the JD2 fixed arm, rotating arm, and locating pins. This information could allow one to scratch build a tubing bender to accept JD2 dies, although these plans do not contain step-by-step instructions on how to build a tubing bender. The Hydraulic Tubing Bender Conversion Plans & Construction Manual are supplied on CD in PDF format. This allows you to print as many copies as you need in as large a size as you like.
